WORK HAS resumed on the culvert replacement project at Maki Creek on Lake Road, near Little Girl's Point, after the heavy snowfall of early in the week. The road remains closed, as there's still a huge gouge to be filled. Smith Construction, of Marquette, is contracted for the project through the Michigan Department of Transportation.
