Serving Gogebic, Iron and Ontonagon Counties
ONTONAGON - Ontonagon County Animal Protection (OCAP) will hold a "Home for the Holidays" adoption event and open house at the shelter on Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Erin Tucker has donated her time to trim nails for both cats and dogs from 1 to 3 p.m.
OCAP's mission is to find good homes for all the animals in its care. Special pricing for any cat or kitten will apply to all adoptions in December. Applications will be accepted at any time, but OCAP asks that prospective adoptive families "sleep on it" to avoid impulse adoptions.
All OCAP's pets are spayed or neutered (if old enough) and have had all their basic tests and vaccinations.
For more information or to arrange a visit, call Dayle LaBine at 231-0776 for dogs or Jan Wolfe at 884-2429 for cats.
