After the oath of office, the election officers took place, with Thomas elected unanimously as board president. Rickard was elected president pro-tem, Nezworski treasurer and superintendent secretary Carolyn Mieloszyk was elected as board secretary.

Committees will have the same members as the previous year, with the addition of a new committee. The new committee will focus solely on teacher and exit surveys.
In previous meetings, Nezworski, Agee and Niemi all volunteered for the committee.
