XCEL ENERGY workers cap a gas leak that occurred at 10:30 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Florence and Curry streets in Ironwood. According to the Ironwood Public Safety Department, utility workers were performing power pole maintenance on Florence Street when they contacted the gas line. The gas was shut off and the line was repaired by 10:55 a.m.
