FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Carlton E. Robinson, 99, passed away at his home in Frankenmuth on Sunday, Feb. 1.
Born June 21, 1915, in Hale, he also lived in Flint, Mich., where he worked at AC Spark Plug. During his 30-plus years at AC, Carlton was called into the Army to support the European Theatre until the end of World War II. Following his retirement from AC, Carlton and his wife, Pauline, moved to Ironwood. He moved to Frankenmuth after his wife of 69 years passed away on Feb. 1, 2009.
Carlton's remains will be placed in a niche next to his wife at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint.
Survivors include his cousins, Steve and Laurie Arnold, also residents of Frankenmuth, and many wonderful friends at the Frankenmuth United Methodist Church and Independence Village.
