WOODRUFF, Wis. - Jacques J. LaFave, 89 years of age, of Woodruff, passed away February 3, 2015, at Howard Young Medical Center.
He was born July 13, 1925, in Hurley, Wis., the son of William and Margaret (Hughes) LaFave. Right out of high school, he joined the Marine Corps and bravely fought in WWII. Jacques is survived by his wife, Jean (Fillner) LaFave; and eight of his children, Jerry LaFave, of Phoenix, Ariz., Marry (Richard) LaFave, of Wrenshall, Minn., Jacqui (George) Rus, of Mercer, Wis., Crissy (John) Dooley of Eden Prairie, Minn., Jacques (Terri) LaFave, of Spokane, Wash., Toni (Danny) LaFave-Ginnane, of Carmel, N.Y., Larry Quandt of Green Bay, Wis., and Wava Quandt, of Shawano, Wis .; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret LaFave; and his daughter, Bonni (Greg) Jackson. He is to be cremated and a Celebration of Life to be held later this summer.
