Francis David Formolo

MILWAUKEE — Francis was called to Eternal Life on Feb. 10, 2015, at the age of 80 years.

He was born in Montreal, Wis., on Feb. 22, 1934. He was the son of Frank and Eva (Archambeau) Formolo. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; infant brother, James; and his granddaughter, Isabel Malloy.

He is survived by his wife, Alice (Popp); sister, Pat (Harold) Kytola; brother, Gene and wife Judy; four sons, Fr. Frank Formolo, Legionaries of Christ, Edgerton, Wis., Tom, Bob and James; daughters, Mary (Scott) Kulla, Trina, Sarah (Chris) Russo, Margaret (Steve) DeTrinis, Rose (Casey) Malloy, Marilyn (Joseph) Wheadon, Rachel and 27 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was on Saturday, Feb. 14, at St. Mary’s Church, Elm Grove, Wis.

He worked as a technical writer for Astronautics Corp.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Legion of Christ or Special Olympics.
