ASHLAND, Wis. - Arthurine "Koko" A. Hall, 75, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Koko was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Ironwood, Mich., the daughter of Stanley W. and Mildred L. (Bergquist) Kopacz.

On July 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ralph K. "Swede" Hall in Montreal. They moved to Kenosha, where Swede worked for American Motors, and Koko worked as a cashier at National T grocery store.

When they returned to Ashland, Koko worked as a seamstress at Munsingwear, a cashier at A&P grocery store and then worked at Larson Picture Frame.

She was a part-time homemaker who loved bowling and was the president of the women's Thursday Night League. She also enjoyed dancing and playing cards. The greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Easter, the day she passed away, was her favorite holiday for spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ralph, Sr. "Swede," of Ashland; children, Rhonda (Kyle) Smith, Robin (Joseph) Belsky, Rolene (Scott) VanVlack and Ralph Jr. (Lynn) Hall, all of Ashland; 10 grandchildren, Neil (Danielle) Belsky, Travis Belsky, Courtney (John) Mihalek, Alannah, Shaylah and Jared VanVlack, Derek, Bryce, Trey and Kali Hall; brother, Stanley W. (Merlinda) Kopacz Jr. of Panama City, Fla .; and nephews.

A funeral service for Koko will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at the Mountain Funeral Home in Ashland with Father Paul Pare, OFM, officiating.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in Ashland and continue until the hour of service.

Interment will take place in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Ashland.
