BESSEMER, Mich. - Darlene E. Osborne, 77, a longtime resident of Bessemer, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
Darlene was born on Aug. 30, 1937, in Nebraska, the daughter of Theodore and Trena Knehans.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ironwood.
Darlene is survived by her husband, John T. Osborne, whom she married on Jan. 31, 1957. Also surviving are a son, Tim (Mary Jean), of Iowa; a daughter, Christena (David Miller) Rigoni, of Ironwood; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Velma Litster; a brother, Ralph Knehans; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mike; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Anna Osborne; two brothers-in-law, Donald Litster and John Andrashie; and her sister-in-law, Margaret Knehans.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2015, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 111 S. Curry St., in Ironwood, with the Rev. Kurt Kovanen officiating.
Lunch will be served in the church fellowship hall following the service.
Interment will take place at Red Cloud Cemetery, Red Cloud, Neb.
