Area seventh grade girls prepare to start the 100-meter dash at a middle school track meet at the Hurley K-12 School Tuesday. The starter is Dan Finco, of Ironwood. Athletes from Ironwood, Hurley, Bessemer, Wakefield-Marenisco, Watersmeet, Mercer, Washburn and South Shore competed.
