MARENISCO, Mich. – Jesse David Tice, 27, a lifelong resident of Marenisco, passed away early Saturday morning, May 16, 2015, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Jesse was born on Oct. 31, 1987, at Grand View Hospital in Bessemer Township, a son of Tim and Robin (Hoffman) Tice. He was raised in Marenisco and attended Roosevelt School. Jesse graduated from Wakefield-Marenisco High School in 2005. He enjoyed golf, baseball, basketball, hunting and fishing.
Jesse worked for T/C Logging, Winchester Boat Works, Carlin Club Lodge and currently for Jake's Tree Service.
He admired anything that had a motor in it. Jesse loved going out with his dad and friends snowmobiling, and spent a lot of time between Hartman's and Dunbar's working on stock cars. He was always willing to help anyone out.
Jesse loved spending quality time with his daughter, Gracie, family and countless friends. He will be sadly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Tim and Robin; his daughter, Gracie Lynn Heil, and her mother, Ashley; a brother, Daniel; a sister, Bethany (Ethan) Johnson; a nephew, Aiden; his girlfriend, Jamie Moll; his grandparents, Judy (Dennis) LaTour, Thomas Hoffman, Mike (Janette) Tice and Julie Tice; an aunt, Sue (Jay) Flynn; three uncles, Todd Tice, Ken Hoffman and Paul (Cheryl) Hoffman; numerous cousins; and other loving relatives.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 9 a.m., at the Marenisco Town Hall, with the Rev. Roy Speck officiating. A luncheon will follow.
Cremation will take place after the service.
