Carrie Sailer

GLADSTONE, Mich. — Carrie Sailer, 32, of Gladstone, went to her eternal home in heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 24, 2015, after a courageous and inspiring four year battle with cancer.

Carrie’s parents are George Sailer and Julie (Mazanec) Cass, both of Gladstone

Carrie is survived by her grandmothers, Helen Sailer, of Ramsay, and Katherine Rose Mazanec, of Bessemer; great-grandmother, Leona Sailer, of Wakefield; aunts and uncles, Robert Blaskowski, of Wakefield, Diana Hansen, of Ramsay, and Mark Mazanec, of Bessemer.

Carrie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Sailer and Dennis Mazanec.

Carrie’s family will receive friends on Sunday June 28, 2015, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Grace Church in Gladstone. A Celebration of Carrie’s life will follow at 6 p.m. at the Grace Church with Pastor Paul Culbertson officiating. Luncheon will follow in the Grace Church Fellowship Hall.

Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Carrie may be directed to the family for a charity to be determined at a later date.
