IRONWOOD - Three people were arrested on drug and gun charges following a Thursday morning raid on a Coolidge Avenue residence.
Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotics Team members and the Gogebic-Iron SWAT team members responded before 11 a.m.
The names of the three people who were arrested were not included in a short GIANT press release.
Officers entered the house with a search warrant, according to GIANT team leader Sgt. Chris Colassaco, of the Hurley Police Department.
The three people who were arrested were incarcerated in the Gogebic County Jail at Bessemer. They face arraignment in Gogebic County District Court.
A vehicle was towed from the scene.
Colassaco said more information will be released as the investigation proceeds.
GIANT is composed of the Ironwood Public Safety Department, Hurley Police Department, Gogebic County Sheriff's Department, Iron County Sheriff's Department and Watersmeet police.
