EWEN, Mich. — James “Jim-Smickers” Harold Maki, 59 of Ewen, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2015, at his home.
Jim was born May 14, 1956, to Roy & Mary Helen Maki. He is survived by his sons Jacob (Amy) of Yorkville, IL, Christopher (Kari Jo) of Charlevoix, MI, and Jed (Brittany) of Shrewsbury, PA; grandchildren Nicholas, Kyle, Quinn, Tinsley, Kinley, and Shay. He is also survived by his mother Mary Helen Maki of Gillette, WY; sister Rennie of Gillette, WY; brother Bryan (Sandra) of Ewen; sister Heidi (Kim) Miller of Kingsford; nephews Shane, Jordy, Luke, Nicholas and Cole; and nieces Lacie and Jordyn. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Roy Harold Maki.
There will be a family service on Tuesday, November 24th. Arrangements are being handled by Cane Funeral Home-Bruce Crossing Chapel. A complete obituary is forthcoming.
