Mercer - With lights flashing and the horn sounding, a fire truck delivered Santa to the Mercer Community Center Saturday night.
The kids gathered at the center ran out to meet Santa before following him inside and forming a line to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
Each child got the chance to sit on Santa's lap to tell him what they wanted for Christmas and have a photo taken.
At least 30 children attended the event, and received gift bags filled with chocolates and other treats after visiting with Santa.
Santa told the Daily Globe that all the kids were good this year and it didn't appear any wound up on the naughty list.
The event was co-sponsored by the Mercer Loons Motorcycle Club and the Mercer Area Historical Society, with the Mercer Lionesses providing refreshments, according to Mary Vaughn, one of the organizers with the historical society.
