Mary Siklich

RAMSAY, Mich. - Mary Siklich, 90, a lifelong resident of Ramsay, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, March 9, 2016.

Mary was born on Feb. 18, 1926, in Ironwood, the daughter of Anton and Anna (Ducich) Siklich. She attended A.D. Johnston High School and graduated in 1943.

For more than 40 years, Mary worked in the display and retail departments for J.C. Penney Company, at the Ironwood store, and retired in April 1988.

She was a faithful member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Ramsay.

Mary is survived by two sisters-in-law, Irene Siklich and Heide Siklich; numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Frances (Richard) Johnson; other loving relatives; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Matthew, Joseph, John and Jack Siklich.

A Mass of Remembrance for the deceased members of the Siklich family will be celebrated Thursday, June 2, at 8 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield, with the Rev. Antony Lukka, celebrant. Following the Mass, Rite of Committal and interment for Mary will take place at 10 a.m., at Hillcrest Cemetery, Bessemer.
