WAUSAU, Wis. — Under very regretful circumstances, the Family of John D. Nordberg inadvertently left out four very important family members in his life. And that is his four sisters. Norma (Eric) Oman, Little Girl’s Point, Mich., Marion Nordberg Taylor (Carl), Colorado Springs, Colo., Mck Nordberg who survives dad’s brother, Edward, Almyra, Ark., and Patsy Dow who survives dad’s brother, William, Payson, Ariz. These four very dear ladies also brought many nieces and nephews into dad’s life. In dad’s very last hour, he talked of his special sisters. We are deeply sorry that we missed them in telling the story of John’s life.
He passed away peacefully at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Thursday, June 2, 2016.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, June 9, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Marenisco Town Hall, with the honor guard beginning at 10:15 a.m.
A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Roy Speck officiating.
Following the service, military rites will take place at the town hall. Lunch will follow.
A committal service will be held Thursday, at 3 p.m., at the Lake View Cemetery, Saxon. Interment will follow.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jerald Rocco, owner-manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield. Condolences may be expressed online at lakesidememorialchapel.com.
