Mural Renewal

KELLY MEREDITH, of Butternut, Wis., uses a toothbrush to flick brown paint onto the recently repaired section of Miners Memorial Mural on the corner of McLeod Avenue and Suffolk Street in downtown Ironwood Monday afternoon. The mural was damaged on April 8 by a private snowplow driver. Last Friday, workers from Hoeft Construction Company, of Hurley, replaced the damaged area of mural with new section of plywood.
