EAST TROY, Wis. — Patricia Minton Adriansen, 86, found peace Friday, Sept. 2, 2016.
She was born on Oct. 10, 1929, to Ralph and Helen Allender in Iron River, Mich. She graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1947. Patricia then attended Goodman Theater in Chicago where she met George Browne, her future husband. Together they attended Carroll College in Waukesha, to further their education. Patricia continued on at Elgin Community College earning her degree as a registered nurse and completed her training as a psychiatric nurse.
Being a longtime resident of East Troy, Patricia was a proud member and past president of the East Troy Women’s Club. She was known to many for her love of dancing, singing and being the life of the party. She had a special love for jazz music and a talent for the ancient oriental art of “Bunka.” It has also been claimed that she was the Packers’ biggest fan.
She is survived by her dear sister, Alice (Clarence) Maki; and beloved children, Roberta Higgins, Michael (Frank), Richard (Linda), and Kristine Browne. She is a proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Other Relatives and many other friends survive her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands, George Browne and William Adriansen.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m., at First Congregational Church in East Troy with a reception to follow. “Please wear your Packer gear ... you know how Pat is.”
