Beverly Ann Romo

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — Beverly Ann Romo, 78, passed away peacefully on Aug. 30, 2016, at Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation.

The former Beverly Begalle was born on Jan. 17, 1938, in Ironwood, Mich., daughter of John and Mathilda Begalle.

At her side was Patricia Myles who, along with her late husband, Don, were the closest of friends for most of her life.

She is survived by brothers, Raymond (Patricia), of Ironwood, and Donald (Mary Jane), of Longmont, Colo .; a grandson, Gavin Wetzelberger, of Mattingham, Md .; and many nieces, nephews and relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David; son, Michael; and daughter, Michelle Wetzelberger.

She will be missed by all who cared for her at Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation. They loved her, like all of us, for her fighting spirit, as she battled the terrible disease that is MS.

Cremation will take place in Hendersonville. She will be laid to rest with her husband, David, and children, Michael and Michelle, at Sunset Acres in North Ironwood, Mich. Burial arrangements will be held at a later date.
