IRONWOOD, Mich. - Daniel F. Yurchak, 44, of South Range Road, Ironwood, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, in his home.
He was born May 13, 1972, in Ironwood, the beloved son of Jean A. and John W. Yurchak, and attended local schools.
Dan worked for Koller Cranberry Marsh, later known as Northland Cranberry Marsh, for 15 years, and recently was employed by Bob Anderson of Down to Earth Landscaping.
On Sept. 13, he lost his battle with alcohol and depression. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ sent His angels to bring Dan home to Heaven where there are no tears or suffering, just eternal peace. No more will I see his beautiful smiling face coming through the door. Dan was a strong-willed person who stuck to his convictions. A loving and devoted son, his family was the world to him, also his dog. Mollie.
Surviving are his mother, Jean; estranged wife, Mary; siblings, Beth Ann Yurchak, Richard Strand, Dale Yurchak and Barbara Reinhard, all of Ironwood; a cousin, Jeffery Kurta, Bessemer; numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews; close friends, Adrian Anderson, Darrel DeMart, John Tincher and Mary Abrahamson; and many other friends and acquaintances.
