Students in Ironwood and Hurley cap off a jam-packed homecoming week today.
Throughout the week, they dressed in themed clothing and showed their school spirit by decorating hallways with posters rooting for their team.
Outside the classroom, students participated in competitions to see which grade is the best.
To kick off the school week at Ironwood K-12, students wore clothes featuring their favorite sports teams.
After school, girls participated in the traditional powderpuff football game.
Students dressed up in outfits on Tuesday that made them look like tacky tourists. Later on, students traded their pencils for cooking utensils to see who's the best chef during a cooking competition.
The fun picked up on Wednesday as students wore Western-themed clothing. After school, the students played tug-of-war in the gym, followed by a game of machoball.
On Thursday, students wore attire bearing their favorite super heroes.
To cap off homecoming week today, students will have a pep rally. After school, there will be a tailgate in the parking lot before the football game against L'Anse at 6 p.m.
In Hurley, Monday was "crazy day," as students began homecoming week by wearing wacky clothing.
The fun continued Tuesday as students dressed up as geeks, jocks and other high school cliques.
On Wednesday, the students wore shirts, according to their grade.
Thursday was Community Car Day, in which they dressed up as firemen, construction workers and other careers.
To end Hurley homecoming week, today is Spirit Day. During the school day, there will be a pep rally followed by a parade at 2:30 p.m. Later on, the annual homecoming football game will kick off at 6 against Hancock.
