CORY CORULLO, of Action Floors, Mercer, Wis., paints a line on a tennis court just south of the Veterans Memorial Field in Hurley Thursday afternoon. Hurley School District Administrator Chris Patritto said the $17,000 resurfacing projected included three tennis courts and a basketball court near the football field and four tennis courts at the school. The work included a coat of polyurethane over the old service, then new paint for the surface and lines. Corullo said the bay blue and reseda green color scheme for the tennis courts is popular because it's what the U.S. Open uses. The plan was to add pickleball lines to the courts. Action Floors has worked with synthetic floors for 17 years, in addition to wood. Patritto said the company gave the school a break and it could have cost $45,000. "They're doing a marvelous job for us," he said.
