Beverly Mae Lane

ELKHART, Ind. - Beverly Mae Lane, 88, formerly of Garvey Street, Ironwood, Mich., died Monday Sept. 26, 2016, in Elkhart.

She was born Jan. 19, 1928, in Ironwood, daughter of the late William and Lillian Sundell. Beverly attended Ironwood schools and graduated from the Luther L. Wright High School.

She was employed by the Michigan Bell Telephone Company and later by the Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company until retirement. Beverly enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved entertaining the company of friends and family.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis (Jo Anne) Lane, of Hazelhurst, Wis., and William Lane, of Merrill, Wis .; and a daughter, Donna (Ronald) Dassow, of Elkhart. Also surviving are six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by sisters, Jeannette Sauter and Ramona Kuklinski. Also preceding her in death was her partner and friend, Eino Haukkala.

Graveside services will be held at the Riverside Cemetery on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m., Rev Jean Rencontre will officiate.
