Roaring Lake

STRONG WINDS rile up Lake Superior at Little Girl's Point, north of Ironwood, on Friday morning. The water was crashing through the erosion control blocks along the lake. While it rained a lot here during the day Friday, towns in Minnesota received heavy snowfall. Snow reached the Gogebic Range Friday evening, as temperatures cooled.
