SIX TABLES at Ironwood's River Valley Bank hold the areas submissions for the 2016 Jack Frost gingerbread workshop. Voting is open until Saturday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. New submissions are also accepted until Dec. 3.

Ironwood - The entry and judging deadline for the 2016 Jack Frost Gingerbread Workshop is Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m.
The gingerbread houses can be dropped off and judged at the River Valley Bank in downtown Ironwood.
The categories for submission and grading of the gingerbread houses are as follows:
-Under 5 years old.
-6-8-years-old.
-9-12-years-old.
-13-18-years-old.
-Group houses.
-Family houses.
-Adult houses.
There is currently a dearth of entries in the family and adult house categories. The chance of winning in those categories is exceptionally high, based on the lack of entries.
On Friday, following the Jack Frost Festival of Lights Parade, which begins at 6 p.m., the bank will host Santa and Mrs. Claus. There will be treats and the latest news from the North Pole available.
Around 7:45 p.m. Friday, the Gogebic Range Band Concert will play at the Historic Ironwood Theatre.
