WOODBURY, Minn. - Anne Marie "G.G." (Giacomino) Tiziani, 97, formerly of Ironwood, Mich., was admitted to the Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury the morning of Dec. 2, 2016, and died of a heart attack that same night, fulfilling her prayers for a quick, painless death.
No words can convey what a treasure she was to her entire family and friends. Her kindness, optimism and humor will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by many family members and in 2003, her husband, Sylvio, the love of her life.
Anne is survived by four daughters, Renee, of St. Paul, Dianne (Bob) Johnson, of Reno, Nev., Christine (Chuck) Zylka, of Duluth, and Pat Martineau, of Woodbury; plus many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to paramedics John and Tony, Woodbury Ambulance Service, and Woodwinds Hospital staff, all of whom were exceptionally kind and professional.
There will be no services at this time.
A small family gathering will take place in the spring with cremains buried next to her husband in Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood.
