GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - David Sievila passed away on Dec. 3, 2016, at Mesa Manor in Grand Junction.
He was born in Ironwood, Mich. He attended Indiana University, where he met Sara K. Sievila, and they married in 1965. The two newlyweds moved to Pennsylvania, where they started a family and life-long friendships.
During his life, he worked as a production manager in the manufacturing industry. He had a second career as a real estate agent, then enjoyed full-time retirement, traveling with his wife, Sally, and enjoying the company of family and friends. After Sally's death in March 2015, David moved to Grand Junction to be close to his daughter and granddaughters, while getting assistance with his declining health.
He is survived by his son, Michael B. Sievila, of Newport, Del .; his daughter, Casey S. Sievila, of Grand Junction; and his two granddaughters, Anna and Eve.
