Festival Preparations

Melissa Simonar, a senior at Hurley High School, makes a display case Thursday afternoon in preparation for today's Festival Navidad at the school. She and some fellow students will offer jewelry making kits, just some of many things that will be for sale as part of the annual fundraiser for the Spanish Club. The festival will run from 8:50 a.m. to 2 p.m. Santa is scheduled to arrive at 12:10 p.m. and stay until 2:40.
