MERCER, Wis. - Diane Rose (Graser) Vecchione, 64, of Mercer, formerly of Des Plaines, Ill., passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at home, with her family by her side.
Diane was born Sept. 6, 1952, in Chicago, daughter of the late Gilbert and Diana (Norris) Graser. She was a 17 year employee of Simpson Electric.
Diane was an amazing chef and baker. She was also a huge collector of unicorns, anything strawberry and Barbie dolls. She enjoyed going to the casino, had a deep love for music and adored her cats and dogs.
Diane is survived by her loving husband, Michael, of 35 years; son, Bryan (Christine); three grandchildren, Brad, Shawn and Ben; brothers, Norris (Shelley) Graser, Jody (Val) Graser and Jeff Graser; sister, Sandy Royer; sister-in-law, Carol Graser; Aunt "Aud" Graser; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her brothers, Phillip and Scott Graser.
Out of respect for her wishes, cremation has taken place.
A memorial gathering in celebration of Diane's life will be held at a later date.
