A SUNDAY morning white-out in downtown Ironwood didn't last long. Frequent Daily Globe photo contributor Gary Jackson snapped the photo around 8 a.m. Only 1.1 inches of snow was recorded in Ironwood for the 24-hour period to 7 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service office in Marquette.
