Little Girl's Point

THE MOON shines over Lake Superior as ice continues to form at Little Girl's Point Thursday evening. Sky watchers can enjoy a triple-header this evening and into Saturday when the full "snow" moon not only undergoes a penumbral lunar eclipse - or slight shadowing on part of the moon's face - but is joined in the night sky by a comet researchers have named Comet 45P.
