MARENISCO, Mich. - Glenn D. Harris, 83, of Marenisco, passed away peacefully Friday morning, Feb. 10, 2017, at his home.
Glenn was born on Feb. 7, 1934, in Saginaw, a son of Harold and Mary (Bourdow) Harris. He attended Resurrection High School in Lansing and graduated in 1952. Glenn continued his education at Michigan State University.
He served stateside with the Michigan National Guard and the U.S. Army as a private first class.
Throughout his life, Glenn worked as a real estate broker and real estate developer, and owned a construction company. He did pre-cast concrete sales and estimation.
Glenn was a member of the American Legion Winegar Post 480 in Presque Isle, Wis.
He married Patricia Jean Miller in 1956.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Patricia; their three sons, John (Sheelah), Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Glenn Daniel, Marenisco, and Andrew (Sue), Winchester, Wis .; four grandchildren, Ben, Tyler (Casey), Dennis and Anna; a step-great-grandson, Colby; two brothers, Thomas and Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, James.
In accordance with Glenn's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
