LAS VEGAS, Nev. — James Michael Bonacci, 59, of Henderson, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.
He was born Aug. 1, 1957, in Ottawa, Ill., son of the late Robert James Bonacci and Sallyanne (Anderson) Bonacci. Jim attended St. Kevin’s grade school and graduated from Roxana High School, Roxana, Ill. He also graduated from Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, Mich., and Northland College, Ashland, Wis.
Jim was united in marriage to Patricia Jacobs at the First Presbyterian Church in Ironwood. They celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary. Patti survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Sallyanne Bonacci, Ironwood; two brothers, Robert Bonacci and Jeffrey Bonacci, of Henderson; two sisters, Lori Bonacci and Sheryl (Dr. Eric) Dennis, of Henderson; nephews and a niece; his dogs, Ruby and Pearl; and many good friends.
Jim was a kind man who was always ready to help those in need. Jim enjoyed his classic car collection and always rode and owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He was in the car business, having his own dealerships. He loved the open road and traveled all over the country.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
On March 3, a Mass was said for James at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Henderson.
