CANADIAN HONKERS squawk loudly at the dikes on the Gile Flowage off County C, near Hurley, on Tuesday morning. They apparently weren't too happy about the considerable ice cover on the flowage. With temperatures around 50 degrees at noon and blue skies, there were swimming days ahead for the flock, however.
