HARTFORD CITY, Ind. - Evelyn Irene Forsberg, 88, passed away at 12:10 p.m. May 9, 2017, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
She was born in Ironwood, Mich., on July 24, 1928, to George E. Johnson and Sylvia S. (Kempi) Johnson. Both parents precede her in death.
Evelyn married Carl A. Forsberg on Sept. 2, 1950, in Ironwood.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Evelyn will be sadly missed by her husband, Carl A. Forsberg; sons, Paul M. Forsberg, of Golden, Colo., Glenn A. (Cathy) Forsberg, of Lafayette; daughter, Carol A. Forsberg (Randy Cable), of Woodland Park, Colo .; and sister, Suzanne A. Johnson, of Portland, Ore.
She is also preceded in death by Nancy D. Johnson.
Evelyn will be cremated and a memorial service will be at a later date.
