Ironwood bid awarded

IRONWOOD — The Ironwood Housing Commission has approved a $95,400 project to upgrade the Pioneer Park apartments ventilation system.

At its July meeting, the housing commission unanimously approved the U.P. Engineers and Architects project, awarding the bid to Mukavitz Heating of Ironwood.

The project at 515 E. Vaughn St. will include replacement of ventilation units throughout the building and in the annex building, according to minutes of the July 11 meeting.
