Construction Begins

A crew from Lois Kay Contracting of Saginaw works with several pieces of machinery to repair deep cracks in the pavement along Douglas Boulevard in Ironwood Tuesday afternoon as part of a coming resurfacing of the U.S. 2 Business Route. Work is planned from the Cloverland Drive intersection south along Douglas to and including Suffolk Street, turning west on Aurora Street in downtown Ironwood and continuing to the Wisconsin border on Silver Street.
