Florence June (nee Remes) Piet

WAUKEGAN, Ill. — Florence June (nee Remes) Piet, 87, of Zion and formerly of Ironwood, Mich., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan.

She was born June 17, 1930, in Ironwood.

Florence retired from Fanstel and Norstan after many years of service.

She is survived by her Husband of 67 years, Arthur Piet; son, Dale (Cindy) Piet, of Zion; grandchildren, Sabrina (Ben) Childers, Amanda and Jessica Piet; three and a half grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Fabian and Amanda Remes; and her brothers and sisters.

As her request there will be no services.
