James 'Jim' Estola

BLAINE, Minn. - James "Jim" Estola, of Blaine, died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Aug. 22, 2017, after a short illness.

He was born Oct. 5, 1963, son of Reino and Doris Estola.

He graduated from Luther L. Wright High School class of 1982 and also from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Ashland, Wis. Jim was a self-employed CNC programmer.

He is survived by his parents; longtime life companion, Diane Hollenbeck; son, Nicholas Estola; daughter, Samantha Estola; grandson, Jaxon; future grandson, Bentley James; sister, Teri (Estola) Zanella; niece, Hailey; beloved dogs, Barkley and Lewey; along with many other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Ada Estola and Jacob "Jack" and Hilda Rokola.

A remembrance of life for Jim will be held in Blaine.
