Beam Me Up

THE SCAFFOLDING inside the Wesley United Methodist Church goes from the basement to the roof, as seen Wednesday morning in Ironwood. Infinity Access, of St. Paul, is shoring up and repairing the broken ceiling and support beams of the church built around 1910, according to Mike Tennessen. Once the initial repair is complete this week, Curtis Martinson, of Gardner Builders, will come in with engineers to decide what final repairs are necessary to restore the building according to church administrative council chair Gary Harrington. The church is currently meeting in the First Presbyterian Building on Aurora Street.
