Dennis H. Pischer

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - Dennis H. Pischer, 62, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 in Winter Haven, Fla.

He was born on April 12, 1955, in Marshfield, Wis., to Donald and Darlene (Jakobi) Pischer. Dennis moved to Mercer, Wis., in the eighth grade. He graduated from Mercer High School in 1973. After high school, he immediately enlisted in the United States Army, where he served our country for 23 years. This included the 82nd Airborne Division, as well as working for a fire fighting division in the Army Reserve. Dennis also enjoyed many years of being a successful salesman.

Dennis married Theresa Burzinski in 1978 in Ironwood. They were happily married for 39 years. Dennis moved to Chippewa Falls, Wis., in 2002. He retired in Winter Haven in 2016. Dennis was a member of Saint Matthew Catholic Church in Winter Haven. He enjoyed camping, fishing and playing with his grandchildren.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter Emily Ann Pischer.

Dennis is survived by his spouse, Theresa.,of Winter Haven; his daughter, Becky (Troy) Cording, of Peshtigo, Wis .; his son, Dennis (Lindy) Pischer, of Chippewa Falls; his son, David (Beth) Pischer, of Plymouth, Minn .; his grandchildren Koral (fiancé Kyle Eddings), Isaac, Acacia, Connor, Evelyn and Harper; his brothers and sisters, James Pischer, Glen (Peggy) Pischer, Cindy (Michael) O'Brien, Cheryl (Bruce) Beever, Sandy Pischer, Neil Pischer, Alan (Sarah) Pischer, Warren Pischer, Terri (Kyle) Dibelius and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
