IRONWOOD, Mich. - Bernice "Bee" Kobesko, 88, was called home to be with the Lord, Nov. 1, 2017.
Bernice was born July 22, 1929, to Paimo and Mary (Crisch) Ciarrachi in Elmhurst, Ill.
Bee married Frederick Kobesko on Feb. 28, 1965. They later divorced.
She is survived by a daughter, Cherece (John) Voit; and a son, Christopher (Loretta) Kobesko; as well as her adopted grandchildren and her many friends.
Bee was the sweetest, kindest and most loving mom. Her children were her world, and she was always there for them.
She enjoyed going for walks, shopping at Vinnie's, and doing crossword puzzles in her spare time. She also worked at Rigoni's Bakery, and several large factories in Chicago after World War II.
Bee was a woman of immense faith in the Lord and attended church until she wasn't able to. She then prayed daily for those she loved.
Out of Bee's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a burial in the spring at the cemetery she loved to walk at.
Bee's daughter wishes to thank her friends who checked on her daily, especially Jeanne, who lived down the hall, and her best friend of many years, Carol Benny.
We can hardly believe you left us. The last year, you fought so hard and made us prouder than you will ever know. You showed us how to be selfless and be giving of ourselves through our talents and strengths. You are the strongest person we have ever known and want to thank you for being the best mother anyone could ever ask for.
This is not a goodbye, it's "see you later!"
We love you, mom,
Cherece and Chris.
