IRONWOOD, Mich. — Linda Rose Macigewski, 67, of Hurley, Wis., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital. She was born Sept. 17, 1950, in Calumet, Mich., the daughter of the late Robert and Isabelle (Hoffman) DeRosier.
She graduated from Schafer High School in South Gate, Mich., with the Class of 1970. Linda enjoyed walking in the woods and playing “Words with Friends.”
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Derbin, of Ironwood, and Lisa Kirtley, of Mount Clemens, Mich .; her son, Art Ball, of Ironwood; five grandchildren, David, Brandon, Jeremy, and Kevin Kirtley, and Skylar Fuchs; her great-grandson, Ronin Kirtley; her brother, Charles (Wanda) DeRosier, of Deer Park, N.Y .; three sisters, Beverley DeRosier, of Brooklyn, N.Y., Brenda (Warren) Richardson, of Arvene, N.Y., and Angela (Ken) Perlick, of Flat Rock, Mich .; and her nephews, Robert DeRosier and Frank Christie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy, and her brother, Frank.
A private family service will be held.
