Mt. Zion sno cross delayed

THE SLOPE at Mt. Zion received healthy doses of snow, but the warm weather has forced organizers to delay the Fire on the Hill Sno Cross snowmobile race scheduled for Saturday by two weeks, according to Keith Johnson, race coordinator. Johnson said most of the racers will race in Lake Tahoe next weekend, so the Fire on the Hill event was put off for two weeks so as not to compete with the Lake Tahoe event.
