Marie V. Gurske

GILE, Wis. — Marie V. Gurske, 74, of Gile, passed away on Dec. 27, 2017.

She was born in Ironwood, Mich., on April 27, 1943, to the late Alfred and Jennie (Spets) Ranta.

On Sept. 7, 1963, she was united in marriage to Gordon L. Gurske.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Brenda, Brian (Tracey) and Beth; eight grandchildren, Brianna (Dustin), Jessica (Kyle), Erick (Autumn), Ariana, Justin (Jacklyne), Ross (Gabriella), Sarin (Hunter) and Seth; and four great-grandchildren, plus one due in June 2018.

She is further survived by her twin sister, Margo (Ron), brother, Joe, baby sister, Kathy (Marv), brother-in-law, Bob (Carol), sister-in-law, Ginny (Dave), sister-in-law, Liz, sister-in-law, Vivian, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Art and Wes; sister, Pat’ sister-in-law, Patty, and sister-in-law, Beba.

Per Marie’s wishes, she was cremated and a private celebration of life will be held in the spring.
