Snowshoers set off onto the trail Wednesday during the annual Mark Fitting Annual Memorial Walk at the Michigan Information Center off U.S. 2. The memorial walk kicks off the annual Superior Snowshoe calendar of events and is named after Fitting, who was instrumental in starting the walks.
