Big Catch

SOME SUPER walleyes were caught Jan. 13 at the Bank Club's Jamboree on the Gile Flowage, near Gile, Wis. These four walleyes were caught from the same group. Wayne Berglund landed a 26-incher, good for third place; Hannah Simchuk-Panosso reeled in a 27.75-incher, for first; Sara Berglund iced a 26.25-incher for second and Dawn Berglund pulled up a 25.75-incher. This weekend marks free fishing on Wisconsin's ice and waters and there's another fishing tournament on the Gile Flowage planned for next weekend.
