David Alan Tahtinen

RHINELANDER, Wis. — David Alan Tahtinen, 57, of Rhinelander, passed away on Feb. 6, 2018. He was born March 1, 1960 in to the late Patti Fae and Gordon Erland Tahtinen of Bergland, Mich. He graduated from Bergland High School in 1978. After graduation, he moved to Sheboygan and worked at Kohler Company until his retirement due to ill health. He was married to Michelle Jacobs. They moved to Bergland after his retirement and then to Rhinelander.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle, sons, David Alan II, Ryan Gordon and daughter, Angela Christine all of Rhinelander. He is also survived by his brother, Michael (Trixine) of Oostburg, Wis .; his sister, Dawn (Bob) Kleimola of Ironwood, Mich., his mother-in- law, Mary Jacobs of West Bend, Wis., brother-in-law, Michael Jacobs, sisters-in-law Amy Jacobs and Susan Johnson and other relatives.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Michael Lee Jacobs. There will be no services.
