IRONWOOD, Mich. - Clifford K. Dums, 76, of Ironwood, passed away on March 10, 2018.
Clifford was born on May 3, 1942, in Wakefield, to William and Madeline (Aspinwall) Dums. He was a graduate of Wakefield High School and attended Gogebic Community College.
He served his country honorably for 27 years as a member of the U.S. Army. He also worked a time in the logging industry. He enjoyed fishing and riding his four-wheeler. He was the type of person who was always willing to lend a hand and help anyone who needed a hand. He was also known as a jokester and had a fine sense of humor.
He is survived by his children, Toni Sidle of Houghton, Michelle Dums of Severille, Tenn., and Ryan Dums of Severille; grandsons, Cody and Hunter; brother, Chester (Sandy) Dums; sister-in-law, Kathleen "Tootsie" Dums, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Wilfred "Willie" Dums and LuDene Johnson.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. at McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St. in Ironwood. There will also be a time to share memories at the funeral home at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 24.
